Problem

Lack of personalized teaching for students

Medical school professors, who are also practicing physicians, often have demanding schedules. Some of these duties involve diagnosing and treating patients, performing surgeries, emergency etc.
Thus, students are not able to get personalized query resolutions and feedback on their performances.

As a result Professors’ time does not permit full attention to students’ needs
Diverse learning needs of students
Medical students come from various backgrounds and possess unique learning styles, requiring a multifaceted approach to education to ensure their success.
They want to learn and get quick resolutions to their queries which depends on their teaching instructors’ availability.
For example: If a student wants to learn in about oncology and they are weak in this topic, then the student may have multiple questions on the fly while learning. Instructors may or may not be available to address al the needs of multiple such students

Thus students need a solution to instantly resolve their queries.

Feedback on clinical interview performance

Medical students need to get trained in interviewing patients.
Medical students are not only meant to be equipped with book knowledge but also in communicating with patients in the real world to actually understand their problems. This includes long checklist like Oral communication, Medical history taking, Talking with empathy, Taking blood pressure, Vital signs, Abdominal exam and Eye/mouth inspection.
Often instructors find it time consuming to share individualized detailed feedback on student performance for patient interviews. Since matching the student and instructor schedule is hard, these practice sessions are often recorded and instructors rewatch the videos for feedback.
Need for getting detailed feedback on patient interviewing sessions.
Universities need a holistic solution to bridge the gap in education of medical students
According to reports, (Source) upto 18% of medical students drop out of Med School. Some of the primary reasons include can’t adjust to the intensity of study and have mental breakdowns. Thus our solution will not only help in improving dropout rates but also help reduce the cost of medical education in the long run as we are saving both, student and instructor time.
